was my 1st thought as well bench .......not positive though. seen him/her quite a few times over the last few years growing well. Well suspect its the same snake as i see it in the same location. Another pic

Brown Tree's have different scale shapes and the head is a very prominent shape (the eyes)

actually brown tree snakes can be almost black...that appears to be a slatey though

And brown tree snakes have thin bodies and almost python-like heads, plus MASSIVE eyes

Dont know about you but the mud i've seen in normally brown :S lol
