he was on my new concrete patio sunning himself, i must have disturbed him and he took off thats when i noticed him, quick off the mark i am - i watched him hide in the tool cupboard then i went in the other direction. Both spots are warm and it has been cool lately 10 or 11 overnight. I fully understand the need for a warm sunny spot thats why i live up here, so i will leave him alone.
Sounds like the trail has gone cold (no pun intended). Might I suggest you copy the photos and the names so that if it puts in an appearance in future you’ll will have a better chance of identifying, it especially with a fresh memory. Maintain your current attitude of staying your distance and taking care and you can enjoy it without anyone or anything getting hurt.
