Is this a water dragon?

    Hey..i found this little guy and thought he was a water dragon...but he was an orangey colour!? Sorry about the quality..it was on my ipod! :)

    That dark colouration (Usually black)under the eye and extending back to the neck is a classic water dragon marking.

    How big was it when you photographed it ?

    Looks like a really serious lizard.

    The local kids tell me there is a big EWD living in the creek not far from here and withn a stone's through of the local highschool. One of the kids made the mistake of catching it and was scratched really badly by it's claws before he was forced by it's attempts to get away to drop it.
