late or early mating?

i have noticed at the moment there are a few snakeys doing the deed - so is it classed as late mating or early? we have just recently put our male and female stimmie together (they have beenhoused together previously) who have not mated this season, what are the odds of them going at it at this stage? i assumed it was too late in the season hence why i put them together, however going by other thread prehaps not....
