Hii all sorry if this is painstakingly obvious, but i am wanting to get some lighting. I've decided on led's to keep the power cost down, but all of them are 12v with a transformer. Are they still low cost considering they have a transformer, or should i be looking harder for a 240v version?

Also i am connecting it to my ecotech thermostat that has a built in light timer, would the thermostat be ok with a transformer being plugged into it?

PM snet, I have mine connected to timers and to a combined thermostate-light dual plug system
Could u plz send to me also.
