Just wanted to post this news from one of our chirpersons in the hopes of making people aware that the Campbelltown/Macarthur area does have a Herp Club and that we would love to see you at our monthly meetings and various activites, maybe even gain enough interest from everyone to have our own show every year like other clubs do.

Hello MacHerpers,

Macarthur Herpetological Society has a very busy week ahead starting off
THIS SUNDAY with the Illawarra Reptile Society's REPTILE SHOW. Princes
Highway, Kembla Grange from 10am till 3pm. This is one not to be missed -
see the ad on page 6 in last month's newsletter attached. Come and say hello
at our MacHerps stall!

Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th we are at the ROYAL EASTER SHOW with Wild
Expo Frog & Reptile Display. Tuesday is Frog and Lizard day, Wednesday
snakes so if you are thinking of going to 'The Show' on either day, call in
and say hi! - We will be there flying the 'reptile keeping' flag.

Then, of course, FRIDAY- April 20th - is our MEETING NIGHT. The Sausage
sizzle ($2 each) kicks off at 7pm and this month's guest speaker will be
James Watkins. James will be presenting on Varanus baritji and may even
bring a specimen or two. We hope all you goanna enthusiasts will be there to
support one of our own local breeders.

Hope to see you there
Rhonda
(on behalf of your Committee)
