i have dealt with them in the wild but do not know anything about them in captivity.

Well according to the book "Australian Goannas" by Matt Vincent and Steve Wilson (great book to read by the way) they can grow to 120cm-150cm therefore they would need a large enclosure with suitable climbing an hiding places. They also said they are sometimes nervous and timid.
