Any idea if bokadams and either of the mangrove snakes are kept in captivity here in aust?
 
Haha hornet you must have a massive herp room and alot more time on your hands then I.
 
one person I know of keeps Bockadams
 
It would be interesting to know, I know nothing about them though i have seen them while fishing are they venomous?

They are venomous but apparently the venom is not dangerous to anything except crabs and fish. The only one of these snakes that have a species code to be kept are on cat 1 in the NT (bock).

They are actually in the family Homolopsidae not the colubrid family. I know the NT museum is currently doing a little bit of research on them out in the Gunn Point area.
