Hi guys, I recently put 2 gravid jungles together due to "space" issues and had plans to seperate them closer to the big day, but due to my work situation I had to fly to QLD for a few days, being certain I would only be gone for the weekend.
Long story shortened I got stuck up there for 3 weeks so I had the mrs lined up to seperate them a few days before the first was due to lay, only problem was she layed a fair size clutch early,
while the other isn't due for another 20 days.
Is it normal for both of them to incubate the eggs?
When the birth mother leaves the nest to drink or have a quick stretch, the other female takes her place curling around the clutch as if it was her own.
Once the mother returns she is given her position back, and helped out covering the clutch??
Now I have 2 angry snakes to deal with when I remove the eggs for artificial incubation:?
