My boy wont eat

Gday all, its been a while since iv been on here
Anyways, my 4 yr old diamond python BARNABAS hasnt eaten for about a month or 2:|
He doesnt look skinny and doesnt seem to b loosing weight...
And i dont think he is ready for his next shed yet...
He seems to be more active though, and u may say hes looking for a female, but its the beginning of summer!!!
Iv tried rats, different sizes, no luck 100% not interested
Iv tried quail, he seems a bit interested but then turns his head away, i tried feeding him a quail today and there was a bit of fresh blood on it so i put that right near his mouth so that wen his tongue flicks out he would taste it and he did and paused but moved on
Any ideas or tips??
He lives outside in a large aviary by th way, and i live where they are commonly found so the weather is just right for him..

How often are you offering him food?

Every 2 weeks...

Just leave him alone for 2-3 weeks without disturbing him unless you really need to, then try again with a food item that is a tad bit smaller than usual.
