Hey all,

We picked up our new Red, Hypo, Trans, Leatherback on Friday.
Everything is going really well so far.

I have attached some pics of our new dragon, and it’s enclosure.
We made some changes to the enclosure after receiving some tips. Please tell us what you think of (no name) and it’s enclosure.

Cheers.

looks and works much better with both lights at the same end hey Phil, good work.Don't forget to upgrade the branch as it grows,if you think the branch should be at least as wide as the body and you'll be fine

Hey,

Seems good, we're thinking of buying a UVB/heat globe so we can put the blue down the cool end.
Do you guys rate the two in one globes?

Cheers.

MVB are really good, but expensive. If you use one, I don't think you'll need a light at the other end.
Very nice setup by the way. What is in the bottom?

Thanks for the feedback on the MVB.
It is a mat on the bottom.
Cheers.

A mat? you should have sand or some rough surface to help wear down the nails otherwise you will end with feet problems as the claws will grow too long

A bag of the playsand from Bunnings is one of the cheapest options. You just need to dry it out before putting it in the tank. As Rick has said, sand is the best substrate for dragons.

Cute little dragon Love the set up
