Hi everyone,

My name is L?on Westerd and I'm living in the Netherlands. I've been keeping and breeding Australian pythons for the last decade. At this time my collection consists of animals of the genera Antaresia, Liasis and Morelia. I'm looking forward to exchanging information with you all.

Cheers,
L?on

Hi Leon.

Welcome. I'm looking forward to hearing more about your collection and what the reptile industry is like over there. Do you have many vets who specialise in herps?

Cheers, Lily

Thank you! In the Netherlands there aren't many vets who have specialised themselfs in herps. I think there are only one handful of vets that are really knowledgeable when it comes to reptiles. Only one of them is working with exclusively reptiles, the others are vets with a normal practice, but with a lot of herp experience. I'm happy to live close to the vet of the zoo in our city, Arnhem. He's very good with reptiles. So, not many, but this is a small country.

Cheers,
Leon

incidently, i dont spose you or anyone else you know be interested in any bredli 2005 hatchlings ? i can arrange pick-up to most european shows.

Hi Leon,

I own an Antaresia Childreni which is about 3 months old and I've owned her for 1 month. She is about 36cm long and 18 grams. She ate 3 pinkies tonight.

Oh, by the way. Welcome to the site. Ask any questions you have. There are plenty of members willing to help you. :p

The only stupid question is the question that is not asked.

Such a warm welcome! Thank you all for that!

@ Mark: Yes, I'll be at the show in Hamm. Will you? I don't know about the bredli. There are some offered for sale in this country too, so I don't know if anyone is searching for them. I'll ask around for you. I'll send you a pm for details.

Welcome Leon. I am looking forward to hearing some of what you must have learnt in your decade of herping.
