What happens if you have a female python and don’t intend to breed her?

Would she become stressed during breeding season? What would be the signs that she’s looking for a mate? Is there anything that can be done to alleviate the stress?

Would a snake lay unfertilised eggs even if she’s not mated? (I had female birds that would do that)

Are there any known cases of parthenogenesis in Australian pythons?

They don’t stress, however if there’s a male nearby, they’ll pick up the hormones and be a lot more active

Snakes rarely lay unfertilised eggs, but it does happen

There was a study or something recently at a zoo where one female was seperate from male, and they female developed and laid eggs which looked to show signs of fertility (veins and all that Jazz) but unfortunately all the eggs failed to grow anything
