Open top reptile rack

Hi guys! I'm thinking about making an open top reptile/gecko rack. Bottom of the rack would hear tubs like normal with a heat cord or mat but the top of the tubs would slide under a mesh/metal fly wire. There would be a 50mm gap between the wire and the bottom of the next shelf. This would allow me to run a misting system and also allow better airflow for the geckos. Anyone done anything like this before? If so any hints/tips would be appreciated!
