Im in need of making a dry area in my outdoor pit, as the blue tongues have been having some problems sleeping in the damp ground.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to do it, such as a cave with a sand substrate??

also, would i be best to buy a artifical cave or has anyone had any luck creating their own

thanks,
scott

I used a polystyrene box and glued some sand to it and partially buried in the dirt. cut a hole in one side on ground level, the beardies seemed to love it, they would always go inside when it was cold. Throw a couple of plants around it and you would never know it was there.
