A very interesting read. I wonder how the little monitor was able to have an over supply of calcium and vitamin D3 in the first place. I thought that reptiles simply passed out excess calcium in their wastes.

I have two cases where overdosing on cal or vit. supplements are likely suspects.

I remember reading somewhere about bearded dragons and too much calcium. So it does happen.
