I have a pair of Ctenophorus pictus (painted dragons) and the female is gravid (I believe so anyway). Does anybody know how long this species is gravid for and what temperature I need to set my incubator at? Any other information about the egg laying process would also be greatly appreciated.

id aim for around 28 or 29 in the incubator,as for egg laying either put a tub of moist sand in her cage she can access easily or mound moist sand up one end for her to lay in,if eggs are noticable she wont be far off laying
when i bred Pictus i mounded sand in one corner of enclosure to about 150mm deep and sprayed it each day. incubation 29 to 30 degrees and 38 to 42 days incubating. if you can see eggs bulging she wont be far away, about 2,3 days before she lays she will get very busy digging looking for a suitable posi. good luckthey are very rewarding when they hatch....
