is it true that painted dragons die after their breeding cycle (as in they only live 1 year)?
what a pity if it's true...

I know nothing about painted dragons but I think it's safe to say they will not die after breading. I dont know of any reptiles that die after breading I think thats more of an insect thing.

IMO they wouldn't even reach sexual maturity untill 12-18 months old,so you can expect them to live longer than that.They are prolly similar to central netted dragons,that have a short life span compared to many other reptiles only living 5-6 years on average.
