A few photos of my poly tank pit. Housing a female lacey and male spencers. Just to keep with the natural Australian theme ,i put a insulated Myan Chitzen Itza pyramid in the middle of it.

That is really cool. I wish I had the space/funds to set something like that up. Looks like your lizards are very happy with it too

Fantastic, that is an awesome enclosure, is the bottom fully enclosed and you've put turf in the bottom? They look well fed too lol :D

scored the tank for free. my mate has a panoptis in the other half of the tank. another mate got me some leftover turf and built the pyramid from offcut valley boards from job sites. it total i doubt i have spent more than $150 including the solar pump in the water bowl. the lizards love it.

i have drain holes and a couple inches of topsoil, then turf

One word - fabulous !!!

I want one ( is it sitting on concrete footings and held down by bolts - against strong winds) ?.

What have lined the inside of the tank with at 1.1 would they be able to get out I know my panoptes uses it tail as a leg some times but she is only small

i used an old above ground pool wall as an extra precaution but it isnt needed .the poly is far too slippery for them as it is. i split a roll of flexible stormwater pipe and fixed it around the top so if they could get their claws to the top, the would just slip back and not grip on.the lacey is an adult girl and not big enough to get that high and doesn't have enough strength in her tail. the spencers is flatout climbing the pyramid, let alone the wall. my mate with the other half has an adult panoptes in it and it is 1.2 m high, definatly need to make more precautions with a panoptes. they have plenty of strength and use their tail as a lever so he has nothing within 2 feet of the edge as i've done and he hasn't had any problems with it escaping .i can higly recommend the roll of stormwater pipe around the top..
