My beautiful southern marbled gecko (“Ninja”) has unfortunately gone missing and I have been searching high and low for him both inside and outside my house. Unfortunately no sign as yet :(
I have however come across a few of the same species in my garden which was not unexpected. Nothing out of the ordinary until tonight when I came across this rather large chap...

If you look a little closer you’ll see that on one of his back feet he has 7 toes!!!

I’ve never come across this before in this species - only in cresties... just wondering if anyone else has come across this phenomena or has any further information about its impact or occurrence in this species and/or others??
