Preparing for breeding

What do i need to do to prepare my blueys and childreni for breeding, do i need to seperate them, or cool them??

You could leave both species together year round or seperate.


example 1
day/night temp 28-32* from spring through autumn.At the beginning of winter slowly reduce night temps to achieve 18-22* still leaving 28-32* at day.near end of winter slowly raise night temps till equal with day temps.

example 2
day temps remain constant 28-32* year round.Night temps are as followed
summer=24-26*
spring or autumn=20-24*
winter=16-20*

example 3
day temps 28-32* spring through autumn and drop to 22-24* in winter.
Night temps may remain similar to,or 2-4* lower.


I would also use 14 hrs light in summer 10 in autumn and spring and 7 in winter
