20 years worth of collecting and breeding reptiles gone down the drain.
Appalling... So much damage
Wow so sad :-(
OMG that is just so shocking. Those poor people losing all those animals.
That is tragic.
OMG that is so devastating!
Those poor people and all those animals
Those pictures near made me cry
Terrible tragedy... it'll send a shiver down John Weigel's spine.
He would of had so many priceless one-offs in there too. One boa survived.
Fire kills 3,000 snakes at reptile breeding business - KDVR
Wow that is bad.
That is a tragedy, very sad death for all those snakes.
Me 2  Just thinking of all those animals trying to escape........what a terrible way to die! My heart goes out to those who lost so much.
Thats just horrible , if I had 3000 snakes I would be so paranoid I would be in the room 24/7.. Poor people and animals
I was up at 5:30 am and was greeted by this news on Facebook , first thing I did was pull apart all the racks and enclosures and call the test and tag company
hopefully their many loyal friends and colleagues over in the states help them rebuild , but no matter the outcome a massive personal loss for them no doubt
I cried seeing those pictures... imagine all the snakes trying to escape with no way to survive... just sickening. I don't know what I'd do if I were in the owner's position, I know I'd break down if something happened to even my "collection" of 2...
words cant describe it .... just devastating...
Every collectors nightmare, so many power sources and it only takes 1 to do something like this.
What a bloody tragedy! I feel more sorry for the animals although the owner must be devastated.
I guess it is something that is possible with such massive collections.
If I had a fire, couldn't care less about the materialistic things, but to have your beloved animals all perish. Don't think I would ever recover. So that is why I am thinking of the poor owners and how they have to deal with this.
