I went away for a quick herp a few days ago however the conditions were pretty wet. I managed to find a few critters before the skies opened up so it was not a complete waste of time. I also shot 4 feral cats which might save a few herps.
Death Adders were in good numbers. I managed to find a few including a pair within about 5 meters of each other.
Northern Death Adders - Acanthopis praelongus
Frill Necked Lizards were also in good numbers which is typical for this time of year.
Frilled Lizard - Chlamydosaurus kingii
Two-lined Dragon - Diporiphora bilineata
Blue Tongue Lizard - Tiliqua scincoides
This animal was nice and light in colour for this area.
Northern Velvet Gecko - Oedura castelnaui
Black Headed Monitor - Varanus tristis
Carlia sexdenta - Female
