G'day guys, quick random question. I'm looking at a new shotgun, O/U . It comes with 5 chokes. I understand chokes, what I don't understand is does 5 chokes mean 5 kinds of chokes (as in total of ten) for both barrels? Or is it 5 individual chokes meaning you have to use a different choke in each barrel?

if its anything like mine it will be just 5 over all , this is because you dont necessarily want the same size choke on both shots , the first shot you may want to be a little narrower of a spread whilst the second you may want a larger spread for if you miss the target , or vice versa what ever tickles your fancy really
thats my understanding anyway

what gun you looking at ?
