Recommended Heat?

Hi,

just wondering what the recommended heat is for a coastal carpet python basking spot..

recently bought a 100w CHE after 150w being Far too hot..

but now the 100w is only giving me 23-25c

if anyone has any recommendations or tips for me it'd be lovely

Best way around it is to adjust the basking spot closer or further away from the heat, depending which CHE you use. 32 to 34 is a good basking temp to aim for. Just as important is the cooler end (bottom?); this should be around 20 degrees.

after letting it warm up a bit, it was sitting at 32.6c at basking spot.
the area where his hide will be is around 20-25(24.8 at time of writing this message but its still going down )
