Reptile Lighting

I was wondering if anyone knew whether it is possible to use a normal light bulb socket with reptile globes?
So say instead of using the reptile one ceramic socket could I just get one from bunnings instead?

I'm pretty sure Bunnings don't sell ceramic fittings, try your local tradie outlet. DO NOT buy plastic fittings as they can't take the heat
