Due to recent hot weather I swutched this off for 2 days.....it has worked for years. no problem. But when I switched on again yesterday morning...KABlooey...it shorted and blew the ceramic holder apart....the wiring Im told by an electrician is not sufficently heat insulated...the heating and cooling has caused it to breakdown...!! It should be more like what goes into a heater or oven than a lamp...beware...as this could result in fire...
