Otherwise healthy T+ 12 mth old male , only noticed when in the s shape just in this one area of neck both sides , thx

Just folded scales mate no drama. They sort themself.
 
Yeah, no drama, don't lose sleep over it. Should be normal after the next slough and not cause any distress in the mean time. No worse than a bad hair day.
 
guys , found a black spot on neck also , so was kinda freaking, but no mites so everything is good then

Haha, my heart has skipped beats many times when a black scale has caught my eye! I haven't had a mite outbreak since the mid 90s though (two or three times I've brought them in since then but quarantine did its job nicely and saved me, the last was in 2007).
 
My male albino boa, has one black scale every time I see it my heart sinks and then I remember it's that odd scale, lol
