Well ive just come home and one of my diamonds have a browny like dryness patch near his tail its about 30mm long. i think its scale rot.

His enclosure is clean. and he was moved into a new enclosure 2 weeks ago. its not humid and very clean.

He shed last week and i had to help with a bit of his tail. But that was fine.

Now he has this browny patch its sorta blisterie. and lifting. and i dont know what to do.?

How do you treat scalerot?

How is it caused?

is it contagious? will my other snakes get it? There in separate tanks but also. i gave him and the female a swim in some tap water the other week aswell.

please help.

its under neath. and its brown and looks like its lifting the scales.

just take it to the vet if you can he will give you a cream for the snake which they use in burns victims and some antibactirial shots but ive personally never used them just the cream also if its not on newspaper of any type of paper get it on there now as it will give the snake alot more comfort.
