Hey , I am trying to upload a scanned image onto another thread, but when i scan the photos they come out at 7 meg or so. even on the lowest setting. The developed photo being scanned is bigger than an a4 sheet of paper

Is there a way to make them smaller once they have been scanned so they can be uploaded here?

Thanks

Get a free program called faststone image resizer. Scan it then use the program to resize it.

if you have microsoft office then you probably have MS picture manager....... find the image on the computer, don't double click it to open,... just right click, then click 'open with' and see if picture manager is there, if it is, click on it, let me know if its there and step you through the rest,

if you don't have it let us know what image software you have and we can better help

no picture manager, only picture viewer, will look on work computer tomorrow.

Thanks for the replys.
