Hi all,

Just bought a second hand wooden viv and it was a bit dirty but I've cleaned it up and used F10 and sunlight to disinfect. There is still a residual smell to it. Wondering if this will freak out/upset my snake when I put him inside? Or any other products you recommend to get rid of the smell?

Thanks

If f10 didn't work then the smell is possibly ingrained in the wood in which case there isn't anything you can do

It may not remove all if the smell but use kritters crumble for substrate and you should definitely see a reduction in smell. I personally can't remmeber what snake crap smells like anymore since using it.
