Sexing angle headed dragons

Hi all,

I just picked up a SAHD. Im told its 12 months old. Can anyone tell me at what age the cloacal spurs start to be visible?

Is there another way of identifying the sex of a 12 month old?

All dragons are sexed the same way,lift the tail and look for 2 bulges behind the cloaca (male). Or else use the illumination method, a bright torch shone sideways through the tail and look for the red tubes for a male.
No bulges or red tubes means female.
Both sexes have paracloacal spurs so this indicates nothing
