Dose anyone know what type of snake this is?
Caught on Thursday Island
I'm not quite 100% from these pictures but I think you have a Slatey-brown Snake, Stegonotus parvus. I've never actually seen on in the flesh, although I've seen plenty of their close relative the Slatey-grey Snake which is common on parts of the mainland.
G'day mate, it's a Slaty-Grey snake (Stegonotus cucullatus). There's no Slate-Browns anywhere near there except on Merr.
