CFCDBF64-1C63-4A5A-93D3-E71A18EBE5DF.jpeg Not the clearest picture. Currently hiding up in the A/C external ducting of a house on Thursday Island. Green tree snake??

It looks to be a Northern Tree snake Dendrelaphis calligastra. The white under the throat and the colour and patterning are typical. While I cannot be certain from the photo, it does appear to have the dark streak through the eyes extending back along the neck. It also appears to have the triangular shaped cross-section typical of this species.

Hi all, it's a Common Tree snake. Everything about it is typical of Common Tree snakes, Northern Tree snakes don't have the yellow/green tinge and don't have dark heads like this one.
