hi all, i will post a pic asap but my wife has the camera,

now wile cleaning my yard i have found a snake.
its about 15cm long all brown BUT has a white necklace. stream line head not agressive at all. it has no blemishs at all all brown I'm gessing a brown or king but i dont know the thing that put me off was a nice white necklace but it's not under its neck so u know what i mean

now i like in logan city (crestmead) inbetween brisbane and gold coast, i live 300metres from bush.
i will post a pic asap but i am letting it go tomorrow down at the bush

it sounds like a dwarf crown snake, you dont get king browns(mulga) there, you need to go a fair bit further west for them.
A brown, as young can sometimes have a black head and a black band on neck but not white to my knowledge, also a browm will have pink, orange, red or brownish spots on its ventral and they are very rarely non-aggressive.
The pic will tell us for sure but sounds like a dwarf crown, very common in south east qld.
