Southern spotted velvet geckos

Hi just wondering on keeping southern spotted velvet geckos wether I would need to give it additional heating keeping them on the mid north coast of NSW?

Depends how hot your house gets.
It's always recommended to get a heat mat or something along the line of that for a hot spot for them to bask on

Ok sweet mate well the house gets pretty hot in summer but I'd prolly just need a heat mate in one corner maybe through winter then I guess to provide a temperature gradient? Would that be the way to go

Sounds good. Wouldnt want enclosure to get above mid 30s

I dont think geckos bask that often so i'd go for a heat mat

id use a heat cord over a heat mat, can put a tiny bit on the bottom and a little along one side of the enclosure
