Hi Everyone,

Been a while since I posted anything but I thought I would throw this one in as I'm a bit curious to what it is. Loacation is Mackay, Qld.

Thanks

Scott.

Defintely a Bird eating spider (Australian tarantula).
It also look like its a Phlogius species.

For a better id post it up on the Australian invertebrate forum.

It is from the southern phlogius group and based on location I would probably guess phlogius sp. "sarina' or one of the closely related species.

As said possibly Phlogius sp "sarina" they are found at a few localities up that way
