Definitely a female funnel web, don’t play around with it! I quote from http://www.termite.com.au/spider-identification.html

“The Sydney Funnel-Web Spider is one of the world's most deadly spiders. Both the male and female carry atraxotoxin, one of the world's most dangerous toxins.”

how do you know its a female? most recorded bites and deaths are attributed to males looking for mates.

edit: never mind i googled it :p

he's right, straight away i knew it wasn't a funnelweb, funnel webs are glossy, trap doors are not, nothing to fear, while the bite is painful, it wouldn't kill you, unless you had an allergy. @danyjv
