If you've only had it a week... then it's the handling that's the problem. Why not leave it alone for a few weeks to settle in.

left her alone for 4 to 5 days so she got use to her enclosure and started handling her for 5 minutes a day after and she seemed fine very placid, the guy i brought her off said she was abit cage defencive but have not seen anything like that from her yet

i thought about that she was feed 2 rats so im not sure she is fine on the hook but handling is a strike fest

If it's just been fed, then leave it alone. Handling them when they've got a full belly makes them feel uncomfortable and threatened.

If it's biting you then it's clearly not happy , most likely stress from just eating or the new enclosure or the fact you are handling it every day.
Snakes don't need to be handled , that is for your benefit only and they much prefer to be left alone.

Just leave it be for a while , and handle it every now and then , not every day .

A cage defensive snake that's only been in your care for a week but handled after 5 days and been fed..... yeah mate just leave her alone for a while at least for at least 4 feeds in your care without any handling. Its the handling that's the problem, buy insisting on handling her you will be creating more problems than solving.
