I have just seen a hybrid cross snake for sale between a darwin x jungle and it is advertised as a morelia variagetia! why not a morelia cheyneai? (check spelling). If i bought this snake and wanted to breed it back to a jungle, and only had 1 jungle on paper, would I be able to sell this as a jungle cross or what???
What does one write legally on paper?

legally i dont know personally when i sell crosses, under scientific name i write
for your case: morelia spilota variegata x morelia spilota cheynei

They aren't a species and they aren't a sub species so you can call them whatever you like but they do not have a legitimate taxonimic status.

in NSW you put what it is, darwin x jungles species code is T903
