Hello All!

Last week, while feeding my adult Jungle Jag, as I was opening the lid to his feed cage my (non feeding) hand got tagged right on the thumb. Not shocking as I’m no stranger to bites, however, there is now a raised bump that looks somewhat like a wart towards the front of the bite area where the front of his mouth/ teeth landed. There are periods throughout the day where I feel like my thumb needs to “pop” extremely bad, but it’s the bump that’s radiating the pain.. It almost feels like it’s in my joints?? I was wondering if anyone has ever had this happen. Thank you for any advice or help!

Sounds like you have a tooth lodged in yr skin, you should be able to squeeze it out once its festy enough

always suspect a bite, less chance of ripping their teeth out if so.

Depending on when your snake last brushed its teeth you could have a decent infection. I would go to a doctor and have them slice the bump and remove the tooth. Better to be safe than sorry.
