tarantulas in Oz

Hey guys,
just wanted to know a few things about tarantulas and how to care for them?, whats a good beginners species?, im looking for a bigger species rather then a small?, also things like where i could buy them?, also heard you dont need a license to keep them? and that you can just go cathch one from the wild? is that true? also some pics of everyones that they keep and their setups also sorry if there has already been a thread about this..

Pretty sure i've seen some in pet shops down my way [Cranbourne Area], i didnt hang around to take a closer look though.
