Hi All,
Can anyone clarify the temps for a Tawny Dragon and if I need to leave my Heat light on at night. Its a 75W R80 Black (Lights up purple). My Tawny also seems to sleep in the top right of the tank behind one of the roof clips (which is around 30ish Celcius if i leave the lamp on over night. He doesnt seem to sleep down in the cool end in the hidy hole.)

Any tips and info would be great cheers.

Maybe try biting the the Hidy hole on the warm side of The encolsure (just a suggestion I don't have any experience with tawnys)

What state are you in? And how old is the dragon?
Normally you don't need night time heat for dragons, although most keepers provide night heat for juveniles. The only problem is your globe. While it would be perfect for night heat, that globe is the wrong colour and probably too low a wattage. Dragons need bright globes during the day that mimic the sun. Directly under the globe the temp should be around 40 degrees.
