"This is not a valid image file"

I'm trying to upload some pics to a post, but I keep getting this message. Any idea why? The files are all .jpg and I made sure everything is small caps, no spaces etc so I'm not sure what's going on.

The upload plugin doesn't behave. No matter what I do, using the uploader is a waste of time. I get the same error regardless of whatever image I try to upload.
Then when I do manage to get one up, it rotates the image for no reason. It lacks any common sense

As mentioned by Snipercap in the last post we are aware of the issue and admin are working on it, in the meantime the 2nd post in the thread shoulg help.
