Long time forum reader first time sharing.

This is olivia, 4 1/2 years old and about 7" long. Never bitten me and has only striked once at the enclosure after feeding. Ive always wanted an olive ever since i saw my first one on this website, needless to say when one came up in the for sale section locally she was mine the next day.

anyway here are a couple average pictures

Nice snake Randy. How big do these guys get generally?
Tristan what does cat 5 mean? They are on the most basic licence in NSW

Hi Randy, nice looking Olive. Going by the name is she female? Just wondering as by her size and pic of her tail I am just wondering if she is a boy.

    Cheers

    Tony

Yes hiss, she was sold to me as a female but personally i havent had her sexed, shes a very placid snake with a huge personality.

Saximus they get pretty big, 3.5+ meters fully grown. So she is just a little one just now

Cheers guys, Id love to get a male and give breeding them a shot. If nothing comes out of it i wouldent mind because id still have 2 olives :p

i cant imagine a snappy olive after seeing how placid olivia is, all animals are different though.

Sorry guys new account. due to losing my old email address and couldn't work out which password combo i used on my old account.

Anyway a not so great update on Olivia from last night. I had her out in the back yard taking pics and letting her get a little sun. As i backed up about 2 meters to take a picture a kookaburra came out of nowhere and had a quick go at her. I could tell it nipped her because she got pretty frantic so i quickly grabber her and put her into her enclosure just incase she tried to do a runner or strike me.

Here is a pretty poor pic of her and you can see where it got her behind the head on the right side. Off to the vet first thing this morning to have a once over and make sure all is good.

And a quick one i managed before the whole ordeal
