Hi everyone,
I have just aquired a new enclose bank so am running a few days worth of heat tests before I put my babies in there ( 4 x adult Stimsons )
The problem I'm getting is the CHE's are all in line with each other ( same position per enclosure ) so the flooring on the levels is reaching around 43 - 52 degrees ( thermometer and infrared temp gun ) this is without any substrate. I do have marine carpet that came with said enclosure but am yet to test temps with this in.
Enclosure is made from marine ply.
Is styrofoam suitable under the substrate to diffuse the heat.
All tips and advice is greatly appreciated
