In my recent clutch of jungles i have had a few tricky feeders and have been trying a few things that seem to be working without force feeding. Just thought i would post them up to help any one else out in the same situation.
First i have been feeding just after lights out in a dark room try not to disturb the the snake at all. I have been using thawed out day old quail. I cut the legs and head off the bird to make the size more manageable for young snakes. I then dip the whole torso into a chicken egg which has had the yolk and whites mixed together and slightly warmed. Now this is the most important thing while offering the bird to the snake make very slow moments i have even just been placing the food in front where the animal is, i will then if the snake takes it not move at all until it finished.
Hope this helps some people out there.
Cheers D
