upgrade food size

i just feed my baby southwestern carpet python its 2nd pinkie mice in the last two nights and the second one he ate it backwards. should i feed him something bigger like a pinkie rat?

Get it onto pinkie rats, every 4-7 days, give it a feed. How old is it, and roughly how big? I started hatchy carpets straight out of the egg on pinkie rats, and soon after, fuzzies.

If the food you are providing does not leave a nice sized lump in the snakes belly, you need to upgrade.

A pinkie ,ouse is very tiny as said upgrade to pinky rats but next time please include your snakes age or size easier to help you
