URGENT Ackie toe and tail rot

I have noticed my young female's toes and the tip of her tail are rotting/turning black. She doesn't seem to be in any pain and from what I've read she shouldn't be in pain. I am not quite sure what has caused this and am getting mixed responses of an ackie facebook page. A few people are saying that the humidity was too high and that has made her toes swell and lose blood circulation and others are saying to raise the humidity. I am worried as to what to do. I read that nothing can really be done to treat it rather than just letting the rotting bits fall off.
