I thought i'd post a pic of a species not many people get to see, due to its relatively small distribution and presumably elusive habits.

It's a pretty bad pic of a pretty ugly individual (compared to others), but lighting wasn't desirable. Taken in summer 2005 in ze Pilbara region (duh).

G'day Dean, very beautiful shot I thought, and yes a pleasure to see some photos of some of the species we dont get to see that often...thanks for sharing
 
I agree agamidae, thanks for sharing natureWA. Would be nice to see more of them in captivity.
 
Well, you'll have to get a few pics of the pretty ones then. Look forward to seeing more.
 
Tiny.
Total length is quoted as 47cm in wilson and Swan, but 2/3 of that is tail.
 
i love pilbarensis although i have never been graced with ones presence i still think theyre awesome just from stories and and pictures :)
